Thumb Screws
Please only hand tighten the thumb screws when attaching your Hang on Tank accessories. If you over tighten them you way weakin or break the acrylic at the bend. The thumb screws on our products will be "Off White" in color, we also have black available upon request.

Installing Maxi Jets onto Maxi Mounts
The Maxi Jet Mounts will work on all models of the Maxi Jet powerhead just slide the Maxi Jet onto the dovetailed acrylic mount until snug, do not force it down as this may make it hard to remove in the future. To remove just lift off, this may be hard if coralline has built up on the Maxi Jet or bracket. If you are unable to remove the Maxi Jet, soak the unit and mount in a 50% Vinegar 50% water mixture for a few hours.

Installing Probe into Probe Holder
Adjust the probe holder approximately 1" above the water surface so that the nylon set screws are not submerged for extended periods of time. Insert the probe into the appropriate hole and gently tighten the set screw to hold the probe in place, do not over tighten as this may damage your probe. |

Acrylic Accessory Mounting Styles
Hang On Tank:
Hang on tank will hang on a standard tanks rim up to 1 1/2" wide. If your tank has a wider rim (200+ Gal tank) please let me know and I will modify the bracket to fit your situation.
Hang On Hood:
Hand on hood will screw right to the side of your tanks canopy. Please keep in mind this is easiest done with wood canopys however it can be done with plastic and metal ones.

Euro Braced Tanks
YES! We can make accessories for Euro Braced tanks. We have a Maxi Jet mount under the Maxi Jet Mount section for Euro tanks and we can customise other items for Euro Tanks. We will need one measurement from you once you place your order, you can view the template for the measurement here |

Custom Work
Custom Work includes items not listed on the website, baffles for your acrylic or glass tanks and modifications to existing products. All custom work must be handeled by E-mail to Nick@NicksAcrylicReef.com and may be paid for under the Custom Work section of the website once a price and specs are agreed to. |

Shipping
All orders for non custom work will be shipped within 48 hours of ordering. Items will be shipped USPS 3 day priority with delivery confirmation. Our shipping rates are a flat rate on non-custom items, orders less than $40.00 will be $6.00 to ship anywhere in the US. |
